P0105
Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor circuit malfunction
Detection Conditions
- Input voltage from the manifold absolute pressure
sensor is below 0.16V or above 4.9V when ignition switch is
turned on.
- Engine coolant temperature is above 80 degrees C
and the difference between manifold absolute pressure and atmospheric
pressure is less than 6.43 kPa.
Diagnostic Support Notes
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM)
- The check engine indicator illuminates if the ECU detects
the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle
- PENDING CODE is not available
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available
- DTC is stored in ECU memory
Possible Causes
- Manifold absolute pressure sensor malfunction
- Open or short circuit in wiring from MAP sensor
terminal B and ECU
- Open or short circuit in wiring from MAP sensor
terminal C and ECU
- Open circuit in wiring from MAP sensor terminal A
and ECU
